Education:
Education:
- Technical Secondary School level education followed by Two (2) years Technical Training.
- He should be qualified to the full code requirement of ASME 96 g or BS 4871 standard
Experience:
- Minimum Five (5) years experience in general purpose Arc and Gas welding / cutting operation of which 10 year of high pressure pipe work and thick plate in accordance with ASME 9.6 g standard.
Duty:
- To weld on various material, pipes, vessels etc. in all positions in accordance with Class I (ASME 9 or BS) welding standard utilizing prescribed procedures including the use of arc / gas welding techniques for Carbon Steel API 5L, LF2, low alloy steel, standard stainless steel, aluminum brass, copper, highly corrosive & temperature resistivity, Nickel Alloy, high temperature service cromium alloy.
- Weld to 100% radiographic test results on one or more of structural, low carbon, stainless steel and other alloys in accordance with prescribed procedures. Assist with the work of hot tapping of pipelines, stress relieving welded joints and pigging operation activities
Working condition:
- 80% of the time spent in non-air conditioned workshop environment or at site.
