Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Vegan and Gluten-Free Chef to join our culinary team. As a Vegan and Gluten-Free Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious plant-based, gluten-free dishes that cater to our customers' dietary preferences and restrictions. Your culinary expertise, creativity, and commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients will contribute to the success of our vegan and gluten-free menu.

Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Development:Design and develop an innovative and diverse vegan and gluten-free menu.
Create recipes that showcase a variety of flavors, textures, and cooking techniques while adhering to vegan and gluten-free guidelines.
Stay updated with the latest vegan and gluten-free food trends, ingredients, and cooking methods.

Food Preparation and Cooking:Prepare vegan and gluten-free dishes with precision, ensuring excellent taste, texture, and presentation.
Utilize fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients to create flavorful and nutritious meals.
Accommodate specific dietary needs and restrictions, considering allergens and cross-contamination risks.

Kitchen Management:Oversee and manage the vegan and gluten-free section of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients, placing orders as needed to ensure a well-stocked vegan and gluten-free pantry.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to source high-quality vegan and gluten-free products.

Staff Training and Guidance:Train and educate kitchen staff on vegan and gluten-free cooking techniques, ingredient substitutions, and proper handling of specialized dietary requirements.
Provide guidance and support to the culinary team, encouraging creativity and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.

Customer Interaction and Collaboration:Collaborate with customers to understand their dietary preferences and restrictions, providing recommendations and alternatives.
Engage with customers to gather feedback, suggestions, and insights to enhance the vegan and gluten-free menu.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • chef: 2 years (Preferred)
