We are on the lookout for a talent with a desire to decarbonize our energy and to participate in open-source software development. Are you the one? We are looking for an OpenFOAM CFD expert with a main responsibility in developing simulation tools and their environment. The preferred location for this position is in Vaasa, Finland.
Your role and responsibilities
As an openFOAM CFD expert, your work will include developing new simulation models and analysis tools. The specific tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working in the very international Thermofluids & Simulations team with a focus on OpenFOAM simulations.
Requirements for the position
- Proficiency in OpenFOAM software and numerics,
- Solid background or experience in software or web app development and/or databases. The idea here is to strengthen our software development capabilities to enable more complex usage of OpenFOAM.
As an ideal candidate you might also have
- Experience in CAD design and meshing
- Good communication skills and an appetence to share your knowledge,
