JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Truck Dispatch Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships, maintaining existing ones, and coordinating the dispatch of our company's trucks to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through phone and email communication.
- Identify and target potential clients, including fleet operators, logistics companies, and other businesses that require trucks for their operations.
- Receive and process incoming client orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
- Coordinate the dispatch of our company's trucks to meet client needs and schedules.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients to achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance and logistics, to ensure efficient delivery of trucks to clients.
- Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the dispatch process to ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the market, including competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Truck Dispatch Sales Representative, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of the trucking industry and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven and able to meet sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to travel to meet clients as needed.
