Job Description
Scorpios is looking for a General Manager that will be supervising and leading the whole Scorpios Team. The successful candidate will oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the business unit and will be reporting to Director of Operations.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the team delivers great guest experience by maintaining consistently high standards and product knowledge
- Review and act on guest feedback and take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints and improve guest loyalty
- Monitor and review performance against targets, including revenue, costs, covers and guest satisfaction
- Support on creating and developing the training material related to the department’s products and services
- Organize the staff trainings
- Continuous identification of talent and implement constant strategy to identify internal growth & career possibilities
- Responsible for recruitment and performance review including appraisals
- Constantly develop and initiate changes to support continuous improvement
- Maintain comprehensive up to date product knowledge, including markets, current and future trends, ingredients, equipment and suppliers and make appropriate adjustments to food and beverage plans accordingly
- Maintain the guest experience standards and method of operation
- Ensure feedback handling and improvement strategies
- Ensure the standardized food presentation and recipe guidelines for each dish
- Ensure and maximize company’s profitability
- Responsible that all daily, weekly, monthly paperwork is completed and filed correctly
- Monitor and review performance against targets, including revenue, costs, covers and guest satisfaction. Agree action plans with the management team to improve performance, where needed
- Be involved in the daily operations and lead the teams by example
- Ensure the staff strictly comply with all applicable regulations, including health, safety and hygiene regulations; food safety training and certification; first aid, fire and emergency procedures; and company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure with the purchasing team efficient and cost-effective purchasing procedures and identify, evaluate and select suppliers where required.
- Ensure accurate numbers in the weekly/monthly inventories (for both products and equipment)
- Handle high profile guests’ inquiries and ensure guest satisfaction
Candidate Profile
- Internal drive and willingness to work in a demanding, challenging and fast‐paced work environment
- Strong ability and self-motivation to overcome problems at work in a resourceful, efficient, and effective way, working independently or as part of a team
- Professional communication skills along with an innate teamwork mentality
Requirements:
- Proven working experience for minimum 5 years at General Manager position in 5* Hotels or High-End Restaurants
- Working Experience in Turkey will be considered a plus
- Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
