Technical Document Administrator [Portugal]

OVERVIEW

The Technical Document Specialist will apply functional knowledge of the European refinery/facility processes and products to provide customers with requested technical documents via various media (fax, e-mail, Intranet website, etc.). The job requires ongoing and effective liaison with both Operations and Sales functions.


DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the generation, maintenance, and distribution of all technical documents for the ASR product lines
  • Develops and distributes required technical documentation for all customer requests for ASR products.
  • Maintains all technical documentation in company approved external customer vendor portals or third party websites (e.g. iCiX, Quadex, Hamilton Grant).
  • Migrate existing data from non-ASR formatted systems into the appropriate ASR structure.
  • Create readily-available and understandable documentation that details standards, sets expectations and acts as a training reference library for the implementation of ASR Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Ensures information and documentation regarding ASR Quality Assurance Programs is distributed to all relevant staff in all departments including leasing with translation companies.
  • Management of EU Quality intranet site
  • Writing product quality attribute sheets and distributing to site and customer as required
  • Organisation and reporting of mock recall exercises


WORK EXPERIENCES

  • Working knowledge of retailer specification systems and review process.
  • Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in the use of data management systems.
  • Experience in a business environment using data management programs
  • Experience of art work approvals
  • Experience with stakeholder and customer communication
  • Suitable relevant experience of at least 5 years
  • Knowledge of food product packaging operations is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of relevant food legislation e.g. food labelling, allergens, weights and measures.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • A-levels or HNC required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a related field preferred

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Access, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Flexibility to work hours necessary to deliver business needs
  • Ability to respond to conflicting pressures and tight deadlines
