About the position:
As a Technical Ad Product Specialist, you will be the main technical point of contact within the department, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and product capabilities in the ad operations field. Your role will focus on ensuring the effective implementation, optimization, and performance tracking of advertising campaigns. Your technical expertise and product-oriented mindset will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute implementations of ad products across multiple accounts, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing of ad campaigns across various accounts, platforms, and devices to validate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and interpret test results to make informed technical and operational decisions, optimizing ad product performance.
- Monitor and evaluate test pages, scrutinizing various aspects across different accounts to identify pain points and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the Ad Operations team, working closely with team members to ensure smooth execution of ad campaigns and proper tracking.
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide insights and feedback for the development and enhancement of ad tech capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ad products, incorporating them into implementations and operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful utilization of ad products.
- Generate comprehensive reports and documentation on ad product implementations, test results, and recommended optimizations.
- Help identify and solve pain points by proactively identifying and addressing issues across the board.
- Act as a subject matter expert on ad product implementation and testing, sharing knowledge and providing training to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing).
- 2 years of experience in implementing and testing ad products across multiple accounts.
- Strong knowledge of adtech and familiarity with industry-standard ad platforms and tools.
- Proficient in integration specifications and protocols within the ad tech ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of IAB protocols and guidelines for ad standards and formats.
- Familiarity with Prebid.js, OpenRTB and Google IMA for managing programmatic banner and video advertising.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and experience ensuring compliance in ad operations.
- Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript for inspecting and troubleshooting client side integrations.
- Experience working as part of an Ad Operations team, collaborating with team members on various tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test results and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in test pages and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proven experience in checking test pages, looking at things across the board, and proactively finding and solving pain points.
