About the role:

We are now looking for a mid-level Business Analyst to bring their expertise to our project. As a business analyst, you will bridge the communication gap between business, design, and software engineers; You will also facilitate design sessions with the stakeholders, UX, and development team to outline the solution.

About the project:

We are working as a fully distributed team dispersed in the US and Europe (Germany, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, and Portugal) and use two-week-long Scrum sprints. Our engineers are engaged in full-stack development and product design from scratch since the end of August 2022. We created several applications for web, Android, and iOS for different roles, as well as a rich REST API for multi-platform communication. We use Google Map integrations, algorithms for ETA and geo-fencing, and weather-related libraries to a great extent.

Team: 1 Product Manager, 1 Team Lead (Full-stack + Architect), 1 BE, 2 FE, 2 QA, 1 PM (from Proxet). Average experience in the team is more than ten years in the field — we are a well-established, high-performance team.

Salary:

3,500 - 4,500 USD

Location:

Hyrbid: Kyiv/Wrocław

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics;
• Exposure to versatile business domains;
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile practices;
• Proven experience in user stories creation, acceptance criteria definition, design documentation, process flows, and wireframes creation;
• Solid experience with business communication, cooperation with stakeholders, and working with an Agile team;
• Upper-intermediate English or above.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Business analytics expertise for mobile development;
• Proficiency in using Figma;
• Basic understanding of web and mobile technologies;
• Familiarity with UX principles to assess app usability.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business needs as well as functional and non-functional requirements;
• Document, analyze, and decompose requirements and convert them into clear, unambiguous, and actionable ones;
• Bridge the communication gap between business, design, and software engineers;
• Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders, UX, and dev team to outline the solution;
• Work closely with designers to ensure frictionless requirements management;
• Communicate with stakeholders and the team to properly manage expectations;
• Maintain product backlog and requirements knowledge base;
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training;
• Advocate for the business needs as a whole and consider the effect of changes at each level;
• Deep involvement in release processes at all stages;
