Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely debt collection and recovery.
- Conduct field visits to meet clients and negotiate settlements.
- Liaise with legal advisors to pursue legal action for debt recovery, when necessary.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Continuously improve the debt collection process by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of field collection experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Legal experience or knowledge related to debt recovery processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
